(Go to the Misc photo album and enlarge it if you care to read this letter he sent to the &quot;judges&quot;.)<\/p>\n<p>Lyle drafted the problem addressed in the arguments and organized the event, which is used to select the school&#39;s team this year.  The competitors did well.  The &quot;judges&quot; enjoyed hearing the arguments and grading them.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Mark Matthews, a Visiting Assistant Professor of Law and BYU Law School graduate sat as a judge with us on the morning panel, and I also met Professor Leary and Professor Mertus.  They all love Lyle.<\/p>\n<p>There are a lot of women law students now&#8211;probably at least half the student body at Whittier.  That&#39;s a change from my law school days.  I can think of five women in my 1969 graduating class in Chicago.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, thanks Lyle for the invitation.
