The women<\/p><\/div>\n

At Cleo’s instigation, two days after arriving home from Massachusetts, we drove with Judy and Emily on October 24 to Utah to participate in a surprise birthday party for Elizabeth. Carla and I stayed at our usual lodging<\/a> and Judy and Emily with John’s family. The next day Saturday, while Elizabeth was at work, the girls decorated Elizabeth and Cleo’s apartment. Some men from their ward helped bring upstairs some furniture that they had purchased while Carla and I lunched at Los Cucos.<\/a><\/p>\n

After John and Jenny and their\u00a0family’s arrival, Elizabeth opened her door to a successful surprise.<\/p>\n

Judy flew home, and Emily stayed awhile with relatives. Carla and I stayed a couple more days visiting family, including this striking girl (lots of her mother in that pose)<\/p>\n

and sightseeing some of the areas south of Orem.<\/p>\n
