All 11 grandchildren and all 9 7 of 9 children arrived and parked not too long after the park opened. We missed Carla, Loi and Laura. Once we arrived, the parents applied suntan lotion. …
Then it was off on the tram from the parking area to the park entrance.
Here was a cute couple.
Once we got inside, some went first to the Pirates of the Caribbean and then the Haunted House attractions before we met up for the Jungle Boat Ride.
One of my favorites is the Merry-Go-Round.
Rabbit doors can't be resisted.
Sometimes it was too much to stand in the long lines.
For lunch, the Parkers met up with Bill and Barbara. The rest of us went to a pretty good pizza place. When we walked back to the park entrance, we saw living toy soldiers!
Autopia was my favorite ride when Walt Disney created Disneyland.
We had to wait until the afternoon for the Teacups to be fixed. I think Bentley had a great time at Disneyland.
We found Toon Town late in the afternoon.
After an interminable wait for a less-than-mediocre ride in Toon Town, we went a couple of separate ways to eat. By then it was after dark. Some of us left and some stayed for more rides and fireworks.

Also, I am amazed that you can remember when Walt Disney created Disneyland.

Of course, when you say "all 9 children" it gives the impression that your favorite son was there, and of course, he was not, so it was that much less of an enjoyable trip for you all. Um, I'm the favorite son, BTW.
🙂
BTW, when you said, "the parkers" met up with Bill and Barbara for lunch, I was like, oh, I missed seeing David and Lauren. Then I realized, wait, Ginger and Elliott are Parkers. duh!

Oops. Sorry Lyle. And Joseph was absent as well. You just lose count after awhile.

Thanks for taking us to Disneyland. We had a great time.
Counting Elliott and me, there were 9 "kids" there- just not the original 9. 🙂

Thanks Jenny. That's right.
