On June 15, Carla and I visited the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum. We watched the 3D film there Titans of the Ice Age. The museum has thousands of bones of extinct animals, retrieved from the tar pits. Here, Carla is guarding the remains of one of the animals:

We also got a tour of the tar pits and current excavations; there are still many old bones being recovered and cataloged.
