Charles and Laura and their children met Hugh and Emily and me in the Children’s Garden at the Huntington Gardens on this stormy-looking morning the Tuesday after Christmas. We enjoyed the visit, but kept it brief as the rain began to fall later.

On leaving, we stopped at this Tommy’s to bring home lunch. Used to the fast service at this Tommy’s, we were disappointed in the slow service and, when we got home, mistake in the order; still tasty, but one burger had to be halved and shared.
